The house
A house
of books.
Leafwren publishes in English and Hindi. The list is short by intention, and each book on it is designed, set and checked as though it were the only one the house will make.

The posture a wren is known for, and the one part of the silhouette that still reads at the size of a thumbnail.

The wing is a page corner, turned down. It is the name drawn as a shape.
One ink
A single shape with the eye and wing cut out, so it prints in one colour on any ground, from a spine to a rubber stamp.
A smaller cut
